Terms and Conditions for Media Training Course Registration

1. Course Overview

The media training course, delivered by Insolvency Australia in partnership with Phronesis Consulting, is designed to equip restructuring and insolvency professionals with skills to effectively manage media engagement during insolvency procedures. The course may include practical sessions on handling media interactions such as interviews for TV, radio, print, and press conferences.

2. Registration and Payment

a. Course Fees, plus GST:

-Half-day program: AUD $2,750 per person (maximum of 4 participants per course).

-Full-day program: AUD $4,500 per person (maximum of 5 participants per course).

b. Payment Terms:
Full payment is required upon registration. Payment must be upon receipt of an invoice.

c. Confirmation:
Your registration will only be confirmed once payment is received. A confirmation email, including details of the course schedule and venue, will be sent upon receipt of payment. 

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

a. Cancellation by the Participant:

-Cancellations made more than 21 days before the course date will receive a full refund.

-Cancellations made between 21-14 days before the course date will receive a 50% refund.

-Cancellations made less than 7 days before the course date are non-refundable.

b. Cancellation by Insolvency Australia:
Insolvency Australia reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient enrolment or trainer availability. In the event of a cancellation by us, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to attend a future session. 

4. Course Changes

Insolvency Australia reserves the right to change the course content, trainers, or venue where necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated to participants in advance. 

5. Participation Limits

The full-day course is capped at 5 participants, and the half-day course is capped at 4 participants to ensure a practical and personalized experience. Enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis. 

6. Liability

Insolvency Australia and Phronesis Consulting will not be held responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the course. Participants are responsible for their own safety and wellbeing during the training. 

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials provided during the training, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, and recordings, remain the intellectual property of Insolvency Australia and Phronesis Consulting. These materials are for personal use only and must not be reproduced or shared without prior consent. 

8. Privacy

Any personal data collected during the registration process will be used solely for the purpose of delivering the course and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. 

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.

By registering for the media training course, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
